Missionary Spotlight
From the very early
days of Cristo Vive International, Antonio and Tatiana Lucio,
of Quito, Ecuador have been a strong pillar to the success of
the ministry in Ecuador.
Antonio is a brilliant
preacher and Godly man filled with the evidence of the Holy Spirit
who ministers to many in his home country who are deaf. Being
deaf himself, he is bringing Jesus to life in the language of
his own culture. Since being a part of Cristo Vive International,
we have observed Antonio lead numerous children, youth, and adults
into an everyday experience with Jesus as their Lord.
At Antonios side,
his wife, Tatiana is truly a godsend to his personal life and
the blessings of working together in ministry. Tatiana has been
spearheading a team of local Christian workers throughout the
Cristo Vive International off season of ministry to keep the group
on focus and prepared fo rthe camp ministry. Her leadership is
without question powerful and impactinbg on the lives of not only
us here in Minnesota but all who work with her there in Quito.
Antonio and Tatiana
have two beautiful young daughters, Sara and Rebeka. These girls
have also become intimately involved with ministry as they have
participated in the camp ministry since 1999.
This family has many
talents and gifts. Antonio is an accomplished artist; Tatiana
is completing her education to earn her certification as a teacher
to the deaf. Currently this team of ministers are working through
the local church and developing a special ministry focus on the
deaf community of Quito, Ecuador. God has blessed them with a
special talent to serve within this subculture of that great city.
What an honor it is
to have a relationship with Gods embassadors throughout
this region. Without a doubt the success of Cristo Vive International
ministry to the deaf community is what it is because God has opened
the doors for Antonio and Tatiana to join us in this endeavor.
We give many thanks to the Lucios for their openness and
willingness to serve with us in this ministry.
