Hello There Friends:

Some things never change, but really only one thing will truly never change, that is God’s Word.  We shall ever be thankful for that truth.  We can count on His Word all the time and yes even right now.  Even thinking about that fact makes me shout and want to dance.  We pray that it is the same for you as well.  We want to share an interesting story with you that recently came up concerning Cristo Vive International. 

We have been so blessed with Becky, our administrative assistant.  She has been able to get our ministry connected through most of the counties throughout Minnesota so we are linked to sites which families visit concerning activities and programs for their disabled children.  Well just the other day Jordana received a phone call from a lady who was very excited about sending her son to camp that offers one on one support.  She said she knows of no other camp that does that and believes it would be great.  However she had to acknowledge some reservation because Jordana reinforced to her that we are an evangelistic ministry and will share Jesus with each of the children.  Unknowingly to Jordana, this family is Muslim.  She asked if her son could come but not participate in the evening services and those events that worked to promote the Gospel.  Jordana assured her that every camper attending will encounter Jesus through daily ministry and reinforcement throughout the events.  And no, no camper will be excused from the services and devotions.  With some reservation she requested an application and said even so, she believes the one on one ratio is a great value.  So we would ask you to pray for this family that they will be open to allow their son to come and be blessed and that an open door would come into view for the family as well.

We are gearing up to jump into our annual fundraising campaign for this year.  It comes this year with a new twist.  One of our board members is a dreamer and instigator of fun.  He suggested that we do something that will attract attention to the population we minister to.  So without to much brainstorming we came up with a program called “Roll-a-thon” and it will be conducted in early May.  We are really excited and believe that many of you will want to be a part of it as well. You will receive information in the weeks ahead so get ready; together we can make a huge difference in our impact.  These months ahead offer so many wonderful opportunities; let’s make the most of them.  Can we count on you?

Sunday, Feb 25 we had an awesome opportunity.  We visited with a whole bunch of children, ages 6-12 at Berean Baptist Church, Burnsville, MN.  These children opened their hearts this past summer during their Vacation Bible School and raised $1000.00 for Cristo Vive International in order to reach more children for Jesus.  It was truly a privilege to have the opportunity to share and visit with them. 

Cristo Vive International Ecuador is gearing up with great joy in their preparation for the camp they will host this summer.  Just in case you missed it before, this is happening without any financial or team participation of the USA.  We are sure excited with them as they work hard and observe God perform awesome feats for the children of Ecuador.
